Start planning your pre travel arrangements at a more leisurely pace, omitting last minute panic attacks.
PASSPORT : Validity covering the next 6 months with a minimum of 2 blank pages as required by law.
VISA : Please check with your travel advisor.
VACCINATIONS : please check with your travel advisor and ensure validity.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION : Itinerary, air tickets, vouchers for ground arrangements, travel insurance, drivers licence, diving certificates and foreign exchange.
PERSONAL MEDICATION : Advise your travel consultant of any allergies, injuries, chronic medication, physical or mental handicaps, or dietary requirements (diabetic, halaal, kosher) you may have, so that the appropriate care may be taken.
MALARIA PROPHYLAXIS : please check with your travel advisor or doctor.
INSECT REPELLENT : Herbal citronella-based repellents are effective but so are a host of other sprays, gels and creams.
PERSONAL TOILETRIES : Including lip salve and sun protection cream, a small variety of which are also available at the Royal Zanzibar’s shop.
SWIMMING COSTUME : It is not necessary to bring a pool towel as these are provided by the Royal Zanzibar.
WALKING SHOES : should be comfortable and sturdy.
CLOTHING : cool, casual clothes for daywear and semi-formal attire for evening.
SUN HAT : A wide brimmed hat for fair maidens is preferable to a peak cap in order to protect sensitive neck areas prone to sunburn.
SUNGLASSES :
an absolute necessity for the strong sunlight and related glare.
CAMERA/VIDEO : as well as spare batteries and film/card.
INTERESTING NOVEL : for a lazy lunchtime read.
JOURNAL AND PEN :: to record the holiday of a lifetime! |
